P. M. Marafioti - Caruso’s ENT

Enrico Caruso was a worldwide sensation in the early 20th Century. His brilliant tenor remains the gold standard of great bel canto singing today. No less brilliant, however, was the teaching of Caruso’s otolaryngologist and teacher, Dr. P. M. Marafioti. His book, “Caruso’s Method of Voice Production: The Scientific Culture of the Voice,” with a dedication by E. Caruso (1921) provides valuable insight into the methods and disciplines that make for great singing.
